The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo opened in 1997 as the first Ritz-Carlton-branded hotel in Japan. The interior design adopts what is known as the "Georgian style," echoing the grandeur of 18th-century British aristocratic homes, complete with lavish chandeliers and antique-style furniture. Within the hotel, more than 450 pieces of artwork, including paintings, are displayed. The property features an array of amenities, including restaurants, wedding facilities, a fitness center, and a spa.

The guest rooms are crafted with the concept of "a home away from home," and various thoughtful details are incorporated to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel offers 13 types of guest rooms, ranging from luxurious Western-style rooms to uniquely Japanese tatami rooms. The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo is an extremely elegant establishment and a highly popular luxury hotel.
