Basking in the warm spring sunlight, I arrived at "Edo Sakura." This inn, nestled in the heart of Tokyo, has been providing travelers with a taste of traditional Japanese living since its opening in 2013. Stepping into the building felt like stepping back in time; the atmosphere exuded the charm of old Japan. Upon being shown to my room, I was struck by its cleanliness and the beauty of its traditional Japanese design. Tatami mats adorned with cushions and simple yet elegant interiors created a soothing ambiance. The room also had complimentary Wi-Fi, catering to modern needs. Situated near the tourist attractions of Asakusa, this inn is blessed with spots where one can commune with nature, such as the Tachibana Taisho Residence and the Sumida Sports Health Center. After a day of exploring, one can return to the inn and relax while enjoying the view of the garden. The attention to detail in the amenities, including yukatas and slippers, ensures a comfortable stay indoors. The bathroom features a large tub reminiscent of Japanese public baths, perfect for relieving travel fatigue. My stay at "Edo Sakura" was truly a time to experience the hospitality of Japan, and I left with a genuine desire to return.
